Cathy Ann Robinson, born April 9, 1963, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 14, 2022, after a brief illness. Cathy was a lifelong resident of Buncombe Co. She graduated from Clyde A. Erwin High School and attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville.

Cathy's faith was of the utmost importance to her. She was a lifelong member of Victory Baptist Church known for her musical talents and service to the Lord. She directed Vacation Bible School for several years and especially enjoyed the years she spent coaching the Victory Baptist Church Softball Team.

Cathy was an exceptional Paralegal in the Asheville area. For the past 20 years, she worked for the Law Firm of Goosmann Rose Colvard & Cramer where she was John Rose's invaluable right hand woman in all things real estate as well as a trusted friend. Cathy was tremendously valued and loved by those at the firm as well as the clients and realtors with whom she worked for many years. They were her second family and, in fact, two of her cousins, Alex Paschal and Landon Hollar, work at the firm.

Cathy was the only child of the late Nell Ann Robinson and Gerald Harold Robinson. She is survived by her Aunt Nancy Wilson Robinson of Asheville and her two daughters Amy "Jane" Robinson of Asheville and Beth Ann Harris Jaekle and her husband Howard Jaekle of Greensboro and their two daughters Madeline and Megan whom she adored. Also surviving are numerous beloved cousins on both her maternal and paternal sides including Susan Robinson Flowers, Jennie Robinson Paschal and Jamie Robinson Padgett.

Family was everything to Cathy. She was especially close to her mother. It is heartwarming to know that she is now with her mother today in heaven along with other beloved family members

Cathy loved connecting with her friends and family on Facebook, sharing memorable life events. She loved cooking, especially when cooking for others, and was an adventurous cook – always trying something new, but her favorite was "Good Old Southern Cooking." She loved country music and was Trace Adkins' biggest fan! Cathy was known as the "Queen of Bling" wearing Paparazzi jewelry like no other!

The celebration of Cathy's life will be held at 11am Saturday July 23, 2022, at Victory Baptist Church, with Rev. Larry Sprinkle officiating. Burial will follow at Rhodes Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10am – 11am Saturday at the Church.
