John Michael Black, son of William "Bill" Black (dec) and Margaret Black (O'Dea) (dec) was born in Kilrush on 1 September 1926. He moved to England in the 1940s and lived with his father there during his teen years. He settled in Hertfordshire and married Doris in 1951.
Tragically, John was killed whilst riding his bicycle to work on 21 February 1970.
