DORA LEE RILEY - according to the 1900 US Census Dora was born in 1889. Her tombstone is engraved 1890 and her obituary to the right reports her date of birth as 1888. Dora was the daughter of George Franklin Riley and Elizabeth "Bettie" Thorn Riley of Amissville, VA. Her mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Thorn Riley died when Dora was about 11 years old and her father remarried to Mary C. Kemper who helped raise his children, but as far as I can find Mary Kemper had no children of her own.
