"Mrs. Martha M. DeLude passed away Wednesday morning Aug. 31, 1977 at her home, after a lingering illness. Age 82 years. Martha M. Schmiegel was born Oct. 4, 1894 in Saginaw, and had been a lifelong resident. She was married to Floyd G. DeLude in St. Andrew's Catholic Church. He predeceased her in 1948. She was a member of St. Sephen's Catholic Church, and its Altar Society. Surviving are one son and one daughter, Harold V. DeLude, Saginaw; Mrs. Donald L. (Dorothy) Bremer, Essexville; five grandchildren, Michael, Kathryn and Patricia Bremer; James DeLude; Mrs. Robert (Mary Martha) Jones, all of Saginaw; two great-granddaughters.
Funeral service will take place 9:30 a.m. Friday at the McIntyre Chapel, and 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Rev. Henry P. DuRussel will officiate, with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 2:00 p.m. Thursday where they will meet with relatives at 7:30 p.m. Thursday for a prayer service. Those who so desire may make memorials to St. Stephen's Catholic Church."
