Doty, James, age 67, passed away peacefully at CHI Health Bergan Mercy on July 20, 2022. He was born on August 18, 1954 to the late James and Betty (Fitzgerald) Doty in Omaha. James graduated from Missouri Valley High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Joel Hoyt. James is survived by his sister, Dale Ann (Daniel) Hoyt; brother, John (Dawn) Doty; niece, Sarah (Corey) Hornbeck; and nephews, Adam (Jennifer) Hoyt, Michael Doty, and Jeffrey Doty.
Visitation will be from 3-5pm at Missouri Valley Christian Church on Sunday, July 24. Funeral service will be at 10am at Missouri Valley Christian Church on Monday, July 25. Interment in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
