Evelyn Marie Flexter, 61, of Clay City, IL, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, as result of a car accident near Rinard, IL.
Evelyn was born May 26, 1961, at Tempe, AZ to Harold R. and Roberta (Roberts) Flexter, Sr.
Evelyn was a housewife. She loved her grandchildren. She was a member of the Gunion Christian Church, Cisne, IL.
She is survived by her spouse, Spencer Cummins; mother, Roberta Flexter of Cisne, IL; two daughters Olivia (Billy) Phipps and Courtney (Zephrum) Jones both of Clay City, IL; two sisters Brenda (Steve) Locke of Cisne, IL and Christie Corry of Flora, IL; two brothers Harold R (Lila) Flexter, Jr. of Cisne, IL and Jerry Flexter of Flora, IL; also surviving are eight grandchildren, Jade Jones, Shea Jones, Harley Flexter – Rawls, Lilian Jones, Finley Flexter, Clay Jones, Phoebe Phipps, Phillip Phipps, and one grandchild on the way.
Preceding her in death were her father Harold Flexter Sr. and step granddaughter, Serenity Phipps.
Funeral services are pending at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home, Cisne, IL.
