Anthony E. Hamernik, age 89, of Green Bay, died at home, Sunday, July 17, 2022. He was born February 12, 1933 in Manitowoc County to Anton and Lillian Ledvina Hamernik of Maribel (Rosecrans) WI.

Anthony was an electrician. He worked for various contractors in Manitowoc and Green Bay.

He graduated from Denmark High School in 1950 and continued with an electrical correspondence course.

After retiring, he volunteered for theatres, Discover Greater Green Bay and St. Vincent De Paul. He also was a member of the Western Fraternal Association #108 (Better Life) of Denmark for more than 75 years and an active member of St. Bernard Parish for 48 years.

Spending time with his family camping, fishing and hunting, he so enjoyed. He also enjoyed shooting sporting clays with his sons, his brother, David and grandchildren.

He married Audrey Junio, May 7, 1955. Audrey preceded him in death, January 10, 2019.

Anthony will be sadly missed by his five children.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy (Eddie) Mancheski and Carolyn (Bill) Stanelle.
