"Quince" was a very prosperous dentist in Wichita for a number of years. He also gave his time to the Friends University Football Program and helped them to several winning seasons as their head football, coach. He was a most revered and respected citizen in Wichita, Kansas.
Quince played football at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas and his coach there was Benny Owen who later coached the great teams at the University of Oklahoma. Quince attended the Western University of Pittsburgh (later known as Pittsburgh University) and was an All-American there while playing under "Pop" Warner.
