William B Wallis b. 25 Dec 1859 Platte Co MO and Margaret Ellen (Doyle) Wallis who married 24 Feb 1886 in Platte Co.. Margaret Ellen 'Maggie' Doyle was the daughter of Allen Doyle, a native of Lewis County, Kentucky. (*later some spelled Wallis as Wallace). William B and Margaret Wallis had four children:

William Wallis died 27 March 1936 and predeceased his wife Margaret. Obituary: His life of only a little more than 76 years had been well spent and his many kindly deeds, generous hospitality and cheery disposition will be remembered by all who knew him. He was survived by his wife Margaret Ellen (nee' Doyle) Wallis, two daughters Mrs. Blanche Lintner of Ferrelview, MO and Mrs. Lena Ross of Parkville, MO; two sons, Clifton of the home and Clarence of Parkville; and four grandchildren. The funeral service was held Thursday afternoon at 2 in the Community House in Parkville by Rev James Froman, who had married Mr. and Mrs. Wallis a little over fifty years ago. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
