Betty L. Beasley, 92, of Mooresville, IN, passed away on July 24, 2022 at Meadow Lakes. She was born on June 14, 1930 in Mooresville, IN to the late Virgil and Bessie (Head) Beasley.

She graduated from Mooresville High School. Always a hard worker, Betty worked for State Life Insurance and then Anchor Laboratories, which became Boehringer Ingelheim for many years. Following her retirement, she became an examination proctor for Environmental Management Institute, a job she continued until she suffered a life-changing stroke in 2015. Betty was a longtime member of the First Christian Church where she also taught Sunday School to children for years. She enjoyed attending the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir concerts and volunteering as an usher from time to time. A huge animal lover, Betty at one time had thirteen cats and 3 dogs that she capably cared for – she simply loved animals. Betty will be remembered for her natural ability to care for others. Her memory will be cherished by her loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings - Robert Beasley, James Beasley, Peggy May and Paul Beasley.

Survivors include one daughter and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family is especially grateful to Meadow Lakes and Anew Hospice for the exceptional care for Betty.

Cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory in Mooresville, IN. Betty's family will celebrate her life with a meal that will be held in the coming weeks at the Mooresville First Christian Church.
