Mrs. Crum was born Aug. 14, 1915, in Amite County, the daughter of Henry Alton Anders and Carrie Jane Reeves Anders.
She was a homemaker and a member of Gloster United Methodist Church.
Our loved one will always be remembered for her beautiful yard and her love for flowers. Also, she enjoyed cooking and giving to those who were in need.
She now joins her husband, Troy, who will always be remembered for his gardens, which he shared with neighbors and friends, and his love for fishing and hunting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 64 years, Troy P. Crum; an infant daughter, Myra Jo Ann Crum; two brothers, Grady Anders and Alton Anders; and one sister, Maxine Ivy.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Fortinberry, and her husband, Dub Fortinberry, both of Greenwell Springs; three grandchildren, Richard Fortinberry, Debbie Fortinberry and Donna Fortinberry, all of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Merle White of Centreville and Adine Wilson and her husband, Dearl, both of Huntsville, Ark.; three brothers, Roddis Anders of Zachary, La., Raiford Anders of Centreville and Ben Anders and his wife, Sara Jo, both of Gloster.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Drs. Kenyatta Shamlin and Terry F. Kung for their special care and compassion to our loved one. We would also like to thank the Baton Rouge General Mid-City rehab unit, oncology unit, PT and OT departments for their excellent care.
