Reba E.Wheatly, 99, of Markleville, passed away on July 25, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson.

She was born on September 15, 1922, in Nashville, Illinois, the daughter of Perry E. and Ella (Keil) Jones.

Reba was a homemaker and also a professional cleaner.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Illinois.

Reba is survived by her son, Imon (Linda) Bankson; daughter, Linda (David) Norris; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Abner Bankson, Jr.; first husband, Abner Bankson, Sr.; second husband, Luther Wheatly; and her siblings.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, IN, 46013.

Services will be held on Friday, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Claude Creel officiating.

Burial will take place in Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
