Farley Charles Matchett, 43, was executed by lethal injection on 12 September 2006 in Huntsville, Texas for the apparent robbery and murder of Uries Anderson in his home.

Farley was sentenced to death row wrongfully after an accident caused while defending himself from an attacker. The police reports even stated his actions as self-defense, but he was still put to death in Sept of 2006.

In his last statement at his execution, Matchett expressed love to his family and asked Anderson's family for forgiveness. He was pronounced dead at 6:16 p.m.

Farley is survived by his wife Gina Fontaine, his ex-wife Vanessa, his mother Annie Matchett and his two beloved daughters.
