Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Wiota Methodist church, by Rev. F.G. Barnes, for George B. Moore, who died Sunday, June 20, at Atlantic Memorial hospital. Burial was in the Wiota cemetery.
The son of Charles and Charlotte Moore, he was born at Horton, Kans., Nov. 18, 1889, and when a small boy moved with his family to Sheldon, Mo., where he grew up. May 14, 1914, he was married to Jessie Rathbun, and two years later they moved to the Anita vicinity where they made their home until five years ago when they moved to Wiota.
Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Dean Miller of Omaha and Mrs. Levi K. Martin of Anchorage, Alaska; two grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Charlotte Moore of Corning; and four brothers, Harry, Clyde, Clarence and Dewey.
