E. Durant Worley, age 69, of Palestine, Texas died December 22, 1982 in Anderson County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Burial in the New Addition Annex was under the direction of Hassell & Foster Funeral Home. A lifelong resident of Anderson County, he was born March 6, 1913, a son of the late John A. Worley and Louisa Bell Teel Worley. Before retiring, he was a pipeline engineer. He was an active member of First Christian Church where he was president of the Men's Bible Class. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Nash Worley in 1974. He was survived by his wife, Edwilla Brymer Worley of Palestine; daughters, Mrs. Graham (Toby) Williams of Montalba, and Mrs. Jerry (Jan) Lowe of Palestine; and five grandchildren.
