Steven "Steve" Frank Tomsic, Sr., 76 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at his home. He was born Monday, October 1, 1945 in Washington, District of Columbia to the late Frank Tomsic and the late Anna Mae (Rund) Tomsic.

Steve was a loving son, brother, husband, father, Poppy, and friend. He had a big smile for everyone he came across. He loved to fish, golf, and spending time with his family in the Rocky Mountains. Steve was loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.

He leaves behind his wife of 54 years: Joan (McMullen) Tomsic; two sons: Steve Tomsic, Jr. and Mike Tomsic; granddaughter: Grace Tomsic; sister: Susie (Mark) Miller.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents.

Steve chose cremation, the family followed his wishes, and a celebration of his life may be held at a later date.
