Born on September 10, 1923, in Jefferson, Iowa. Passed away January 13, 2008, in Lancaster, Calif. She was a resident of Palmdale. Loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved people, sewing, crocheting, knitting, crossword puzzles and reading. She was a cheerful giver and always ready with a smile and a hug. Preceded in death by her husband Wayne, father, John, mother Leona and grandson Ryan. She leaves behind dozens of family members and friends who will never forget her smile. Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 18, 2008, at Faith Community Church, 10th St. West, Palmdale, Calif. Bernice went to be with the Lord at the age of 84. Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary in charge of arrangements
