Mrs. Roberta Kay Fellers, 49, passed away Jan. 19, 2008. She was born Feb. 17, 1958, in Wisconsin. She was a resident of Apple Valley for 34 years.
Roberta was now preceded in death by her husband, Gary Fellers, her father, Donald McCormick; brother Gregory McCormick; and stepfather, Paul Carson.
She is survived by sons Cory and Brandon Fellers, mother, Jan Carson, of Apple Valley; sister Jacki Bailey, of Birmingham, Ala.; brother Bruce McCormick, of Tuttle, Okla.; and stepmom, Myrla McCormick, of Woodbridge.

Roberta and I met on our first day of school and both 11 years old. We both had the same middle and last names and yet were not related in any way. She was a straight "A" student where I stuggled and was lucky to get a "C". She had great relationships with others. It was not a surprise when she had her first boyfriend at age 13. I never did. We lived in Corona, California and spent the night frequently at eachother's houses. We loved the same program "Medical Center" with Chad Everett and were always watching it every week together.
I was sad when my family moved from Corona, California, to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in December, 1970. We wrote letters to eachother and even called on the telephone for a time. We eventually lost touch and went our seperate ways after she married Gary Charles Fellers in January, 1978. I talked to her for the last time after her marriage and wished her lots of happiness.
I am sad to see that she has passed away when I tried to find her again.
Roberta has two sons. Her son Brandon contacted me on 04/19/2013 and am excited about that. Her other son, Cory, has contacted me a short time later.
