"Thomas M. Ludden, Jr., 80, of 8246 Tracy Ave., died Saturday at University Hospital. He was born in Marceline, Mo., and had lived in this area 60 years. Mr. Ludden was a maintenance worker for the Burstein-Applebee Co., for 20 years before he retired in 1969. He previously had been a railroad yard clerk and swichman. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Dorothea N. Ludden of the home; a son, Thomas M. Ludden III of San Antonio, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Marcella L. McBride of Kansas City and Mrs. Doris Jean Hayes of Liberty; two brothers, G. I. Ludden of Kirksville, Mo., and Ernest J. Ludden of Wagoner, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Wilma Doran and Mrs. Peggy Cleary of Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. May Fuller of Marceline; nine grandchildren and eight great-grand-children. Cremation."
