CLOVER — Eldred E. Boyd, 74, of Route 1, Clover, died at his home early this morning.
He was born Sept. 16, 1889 in York County, a son of the late Thomas Grier and Margaret Jackson Boyd. He was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. from Bethel Presbyterian Church by Rev. Kenneth Newman pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body was to be taken to the home late this afternoon.
Survivors included his widow, Mrs. Katie Robinson Boyd; two daughters, Mrs. C. P. Lawrence Jr. and Mrs. Charles McGill, both of Clover; two sons, Brown Boyd and Paul Boyd, both of Clover; a brother, C. O. Boyd, Clover; two sisters, Mrs. James T. Robinson and Mrs. Roy Jackson, both of Clover; five grandchildren.
