Maxine Alvis Moye, 96, of Spanishburg, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the residence of her caregivers, Freddy and Mary Heath in Camp Creek.
She was born March 22, 1926, in Athens, WV, and was the daughter of the late J. Kenna Alvis and Cora Martin Alvis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claxton Z. Moye; three brothers, Roy, Eugene, and Clarence Alvis; and two sisters, Helen Hodges, and Gladys McComas. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Left to cherish her memories are her nieces and nephews; and special friends and caregivers, Freddy and Mary Heath, Ellie, Sheila, and Bonnie.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022, at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Richard Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the service hour Friday.
