Rev. William Lee "Bill" Carlisle, age 82, went to be with Jesus on July 31, 2022 at Protestant Home in Evansville, IN. He was born on April 28, 1940.
Bill is survived by his children, Sherry Carlisle (Tony) Smith, Timothy Lee (Liz Whitney) Carlisle & Lorrie Carlisle (Chris) Higgs; grandchildren, Dallas (Jeff) Smith-Bach, Dakota Smith, Levi Carlisle, EmmaLee Higgs, Lexi Carlisle & Bo Higgs; sisters, Bettye (Raymond) Abbott & Jean (Pete) Knight; sisters-in-law, Klete Carlisle & Wanda Carlisle; many nieces, nephews & several cousins.
Rev. William "Bill" Carlisle was the pastor of 4 churches in Southern Indiana, ministering to the Tri-State area. He was the founder and CEO in 1973 of the Bread of Life Ministry, Inc. located in Lynnville, IN and founded in 1970 the WBNL radio program that stills airs today on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. on WBNL and live on the Bread of Life Ministry, Inc. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Lavon Leslie Carlisle; his parents, John & Minnie Carlisle; brothers, Charles Carlisle & Gary Carlisle.
Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2022 at North Friendship G.B. Church. Visitation 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 and 1 hour before service time on Thursday. ALL AT THE CHURCH. Interment Folsomville Cemetery.
