EAST WENATCHEE _ Veral O. Beckman, 77, of East Wenatchee, died Monday, July 13, 1992, at home.
He was born Aug. 18, 1914, to Forest and Martha Beckman at Chelan.
He married Bernice M. Irelan on July 26, 1940, at Wenatchee. They lived for most of their 51 married years at the Wenatchee Valley.
Mr. Beckman worked at Boeing at Seattle during World War II. They moved in 1944 to Chelan where Mr. Beckman and his father owned a cattle ranch. They moved in 1958 to Cashmere where he owned and operated a cattle and hay ranch. He went to work for Skookum in 1959.
He was a member of the Washington State Snowmobile Association and the Wenatchee Rifle and Revolver Club.
Survivors include his wife, at home; two sons, Gary Beckman of East Wenatchee and Bing Beckman of Sandy, Ore.; a brother, Ed Beckman of Chelan; a sister, Marion Marshall of Snohomish; and five grandchildren.
