Emily Jane (Bond) Lindsay was the daughter of Rev. Thomas Emerson and Christiana (Birckhead) Bond. She was the wife of Rev. John Wesley Lindsay. They were married June 16, 1852. Rev. Lindsay was a minister in the New York Conference and New England Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He was President of Genesee College, Lima New York 1865-1868. He died March 1912.
