A native of Oconee County, Darlene was the daughter of Gladys Arleasie Reid Cannon of Walhalla, and the late Jesse James Cannon.
She was a former textile worker, and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, survivors include son, Bobby James Wilbanks (Tiffany) of Oakway, daughter, Heather Arleasie Wilbanks, of Walhalla and their father, Keith Wilbanks; sisters, Ruby Eller of Tamassee, Pauline Helmer of Seneca, Geraldine Becker of Ft. Kent, Maine, and Erline Sims of Salem; 6 grandchildren.
In addition to her father, Darlene was predeceased by brothers, Walter Cannon , D. L. Cannon and LC Jesse Cannon.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
