Griffin Howard, 88, passed away June 16, 2018. He was born August 15, 1929 in Union Springs, Alabama.

Proceeded in death by his wife of almost 60 years, Joan Ann Howard, parents, Lola Dubose and G. B. Howard Jr., sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Homer Stallings and niece, Madison Miller.

He graduated from Troy State Teachers college in Alabama with a Bachelor of Science. He was a member of the Psi Omega fraternity in the Delta Psi Chapter. He was a graduate with the degree Dr. of Dental Surgery at Baylor University of Dallas in 1954. He was certified by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners.

After serving in the United States Air Force, he started his practice August 3, 1956. He loved our mother with his whole heart. She came first. He loved her legs! If she were here she would say he survived damn near everything. Dentistry was his second love and he considered his staff family.

Service in Memorial Chapel on June 29, 2018. Graveside service and military honors. Restland in Dallas, Texas...RFH
