William was the son of William Glynn and his wife Ann Sinnott. He married Judith Ann Garofalo on June 16, 1979 at Rocky Hill, Connecticut. William and Judith had two children, and the family lived in Rock Hill. After retirement they moved to Westbrook, Connecticut. Both William and Judith passed away after being involved in a motor vehicle accident in Ohio.
