"Molton M. Beasley, 58, of 2007 East Seventh Street, Pine Bluff, died November 28 at Jefferson Hospital in that city. A son of the late Shelby and Ira Lou Hickman Beasley, he was born Feb. 10, 1919 here in Warren where he grew up. He graduated from Hermitage High School and attended Arkansas A&M College before serving in the army during World War II. Upon his discharge, he worked for Southern Lumber Company here; later for International Paper Company at its mill at Springhill, La. He moved to Pine Bluff 25 years ago to work at the Arsenal. He worked there as a pipefitter, retiring when he was 51. Then he worked for the Pine Bluff Guard and Patrol Company; after that for Burns Security Corporation, being employed there for one month. He was a member of the Carr Memorial United Methodist Church and in various masonic groups, including the Sahara Shrine and the Knights Templar, Commandery number eight. He was married to the former Tommie Lou St. Clair at Pine Bluff on May 11, 1968. His survivors include his widow; two sons; a stepson; two stepdaughters; a brother, Macon Beasley of El Dorado; three sisters, Vedia Savage of Crossett and Alice Rodgers and Jeanette Baker of Warren; and five grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Beasley were conducted at the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son, Cherry Street, Pine Bluff, on last Wednesday morning with the Rev. Larry R.
