Ellen Bemben, 72, of Wilbraham passed away on February 20, 2021.

Ellen was born on December 21, 1948 to the late John and Bernice (Hall) Bemben. She attended Lake Erie College, L'Universite de Nancy, in France, and the University of Pittsburg, Graduate School of Public & International Affairs. Following her education, she worked at a variety of jobs including management at Hertz, before ultimately working as a Sales Representative in the plastic industry, for which she traveled to several places such as Israel.

When she was not traveling, she had many hobbies including gardening, collecting seashells on her family vacations to Sanibel Island, and forming a fan club for the operatic pop group known as Forte. She was also an avid horse lover, raising her prized Morgan Show Horse "Hotshot", as well as other horses.

Ellen will be deeply missed by her many friends and family. To cherish her memory, she leaves her twin sister Anne B. Jones of Wilbraham; brother Richard E. Bemben of East Longmeadow and his former wife Sherilyn Bisson; nieces Amy Patton, Meridith Verge, Juliana Bemben; nephew Douglas Jones; and great nieces Caitlin Patton, and Lacey Jones.
