Elton C. Carr, 92, of Kansas City, MO, passed away at his home on December 23, 2002. Memorial Services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2002, at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City. Cremation.

Elton was born in Mulberry, KS, in 1910. He was a member of the American Ex-Prisoners of War and served as a Paratrooper on D-Day in Normandy, France, in WWII with the 101st Airborne Division. Elton worked for the Kansas City Power & Light Co. for 37 years.

He is survived by his wife, Elinor J. Carr, of the home; niece, Jody Hawkinson, Shawnee, KS; nephew, Charles H. Sloan, Lenexa, KS; nephew, Ray Carr, Klamath Falls, OR; niece, Betty Perkins, Hemet, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
