Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Miksan Moore, 85, of Jake Street in Lake Charles, will be at 10 a.m. today, April 17, 1985 in Johnson Funeral Home.
The Rev. Fred Ashe will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore died at 8:52 p.m. Monday in a local hospital.
A native of Rosebud, Texas she had lived in Lake Charles for 24 years. As a child and young adult she loved horses. She was divorced in the early 1940's and raised her two girls as a single parent while living and working in Port Lavaca, Texas.
Survivors included her two daughters. Mrs. Adolph (Frances) Machicek of Victoria, Texas, and Mrs. Emogene Nix of Lake Charles, and one grandchild Sharon.
