Everett - Oh heavens gates rattled when Margaret Laverne (Sheahan) Rolain passed away peacefully at Providence Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 11:47 am. Her laughter, smile and advice to others and her love for her family will be greatly missed. Born October 13, 1935 to John and Winifred Sheahan in Anacortes WA. Who will we get our families comings and goings now from, begs the question, since she was the center of it all. We all could depend on her for the latest intel, and she always welcomed us with open arms, that warm smile and of course "I love you" was always in the conversation. Her daily calls to her best friend catching up on the latest, and with her siblings, nieces and nephews. Not to mention the daily visits from her children. Online shopping has lost another customer and the collection of collectable spoons will now be passed on.

She worked from a very early age in Seattle WA, then in the nursing home business in Everett WA, retiring from this industry in 2002. She met many lifelong friends from her work. She had a short marriage to James Drake (1954-56) and had one child ( Robert Drake). She had one other child Jeff Floyd before she met Daniel Rolain in 1958, they had one child Daniel Rolain Jr. (Danny) and remained married to him until her death.

Her obituary does not give her justice in the "life" she gave to so many others. She was a solid friend to many, surrogate mother to others. Although the heavens gained another adviser, our earth is empty of her mortal presence and the phone is now silent. May her advice, laughter and smile continue through her family and friends and the intel we gained be passed on to someone else.

She is survived by husband Daniel Rolain, Everett WA. Her best friend Judy Sandstrom, Marysville WA. Her children, Robert Drake (spouse- Tammy) of Everett WA, Jeff Floyd (spouse- Carol) Linwood KS, Daniel (Danny) Rolain of Everett WA. Four grandchildren, Chris Drake (Jaime) Boise ID, Shawn Drake (Tammy), Kirkland WA, Chisty Floyd-Brice (Bobby), Wess Floyd ( Erika Alas) both from Linwood KS. Ten great grandchildren, Tucker Drake, Austin Drake, Emmie Drake, Elijah Drake, Mason Drake, Brantley Drake, Alysa Brice, Bobby Brice Iv, Alex Floyd, Chase Floyd. She also is survived by many Nieces and Nephews, great nieces of nephews and great-great nieces and nephews... to many to mention individually.

She is survived by her sister Wilma Lavonne Jones ( Anacortes WA), Brother, Thomas Sheahan and his wife Judy of ( Edison WA). She was preceded in death by her parents John Sheahan and Winifred Sheahan-Breckenridge, Siblings, Betty June Sheahan, Anna LaRane Sheahan, Willa Lavette Sheahan-Carpenter (Spokane WA), Gloria Mae Sheahan-Beckstrom (Bayview WA), Sheila Marie Sheahan, Roberta Wilhemina (Sheahan) Donaldson-Thompson (Davis CA), John Edward Sheahan (Bow WA) , James Edward Sheahan (Burlington WA), Alfred (Butch) Arvin Sheahan (Bow WA), Alice Arlene Sheahan-Wright (Seattle WA), LeRoy Breckenridge (Alabama). Her life long friend Martha Turley-Jones (Marysville WA).

There will be a graveside service at Fern Hill Cemetery, 7407 Fern Hill Cemetery Rd, Anacortes, WA 98221, her cremated remains will be laid to rest with her siblings. Services will be officiated by Colleen Sheahan her niece, Sunday, August 21,2022 at 10:30 a.m. Celebration of life services will follow at the home Tom and Judy Sheahan 12999 Bent Needle Lane, Bow WA. All are welcome.
