Boyd "Pete" D. Wigfield
November 16, 1949 ~ August 14, 2022 (age 72)

Boyd "Pete" Wigfield, 72, of Black Valley Road, Everett, PA; passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Pennknoll Village.
He was born November 16, 1949, in Everett, PA; a son of the late Boyd W. and Pauline (Kile) Wigfield.
Surviving family may be seen at the below Funeral Home Web Link.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Dorothy "Dottie" Markle, Betty "Bets" Wigfield and a niece Lorri (Markle) Bottenfield.
Pete was a special, caring and loving person. He enjoyed sitting on the porch drinking coffee and watching the birds, riding his motorcycle, traveling and visiting different locations. He loved the little town of Mt. Airey in NC, which everyone calls Mayberry. The one thing he enjoyed the most was going to Ohio in the Spring and doing walleye fishing. Pete really didn't fish, he just enjoyed being on the boat and spending time with family.
There will be no public viewing at this time. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later time.
The family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society, in memory of Boyd "Pete" Wigfield.
Arrangements by Akers Funeral Home, Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, PA 15537.
