The Visitation will be held Monday at Gallagher Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Lane Creech officiating with burial to follow in Big Creek Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Cole, Sr. and Nettie Delaney Bowens.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Otis Walden, and wife, Stephanie, and Jeremy Rivers of Gardner; brother, John Cole, Jr. of Pineville; sisters, Linda Johnson and husband Glen of Baton Rouge , Judy McKay and husband Earl of Pineville, and Louise Vercher of Pineville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ms. Dorothy was a loving mother, sister, and aunt. She was an independent person full of spirit and free will. She enjoyed travelling, swimming, and spending time around the ocean. Ms. Dorothy will forever be missed by those that love and knew her.
