Mrs. L.J. Allison died suddenly at her home in the First ward Tuesday evening at 10:30 o'clock of heart trouble. In the evening Mrs. Allison had attended the Degree of Honor Lodge, and took ill in the lodge room. Dr. Teller was summoned and she was taken to her home, but grew rapidly worse, and it soon was evident that death had marked her for a victim. Deceased was a member of both the Degree of Honor and Rebekah lodges. The funeral was held from her late residence on North C street Thursday, at 2 p.m., under the auspices of the above lodges. She leaves a husband and daughter, Mrs. D.C. Allen, to mourn her departure.
