Wilburn W. Kent was the son of Morland Kent and Ada Ruth Lamb; born in Rockville, Indiana. He was a retired Railway Maintenance worker. He married Laura Ellen Anthony on April 03, 1892 in Brazil, Clay, Indiana, and they had five children: Bertha Rosdila, Lina Nellie, Roscoe Clay, Harry, and Edward Kent. Also he had a step-daughter, Hallie Bernice Elliott. At the time of his death he lived in Brazil, Indiana. He was called "Pa Kent" by everyone.
