JoAnn Brown passed away in her sleep on Monday, July 25, 2016 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in 1938 in Iowa and moved to California with her family as a child.

She married Roger Warren Brown and had two sons, Jeff and Doug. They lived in Shadow Hills prior to retiring in the Santa Clarita valley.

JoAnn loved life and anything to do with her grandchildren. She played a huge part in their lives and could routinely been seen at one of their sporting events every weekend. She enjoyed golf and spending time with her friends and family.

JoAnn is survived by her son Doug, her daughter-in-law Janet, and her grandchildren: Melissa, Trevor, and Joshua. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roger and her son, Jeff.

Services will be held in San Francisco, CA via Neptune Society. In lieu of cards and flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America (www.alzfdn.org/Donation).
