YORK — Mr. Carroll Aurelius Andrews, 66, of 3 Burnette Ave., died Monday, Aug. 15, 1988 at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church in York with the Rev. Clay Doyle officiating and the Rev. Horace Story assisting. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mr. Andrews was a retired credit manager for T.E. Jones & Sons Furniture Co. in York. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church where he served as choir director and a member of the Men's Bible Class. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of the York Chorale Society.
Surviving are his wife, Eleanor Clark Andrews; two daughters, Gail Dickerson of York and Rebecca Lee Thompson of Kannapolis, N.C.; his mother, Josa Lee H. Andrews of Atlanta, Ga.; his brother, James Allen Andrews of Toccoa, Ga.; his sister, Mary Joe Pennington of Atlanta, Ga. and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at York Funeral Home.
