Arthur L. "Swiss" Kamm, 89, of Troy, IL, born Sunday, November 20, 1932 in Troy, IL and passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.
Swiss honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a long time member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Troy, IL serving on many committees, head usher and alter guild. He retired from Penn Central Railroad and owned and operated Kamm's Soft Water for over 20 years. He enjoyed working in his yard, golfing, bowling, hunting, fishing, and coaching his son in baseball. Swiss was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and the Kansas City Chiefs Football fan. Most of all Swiss loved his family and friends and spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Kamm; parents, Arthur E. and Maybelle (nee Stein) Kamm; his brother, Jewel Kamm; and his brother-in-law, Charles Seymore.
Surviving are his wife, Yvonne (nee Seymore) Kamm, whom he married June 26, 1954 at Friedens United Church of Christ; his daughter, Cindy (John) Farenzena of Collinsville, IL; sisters-in-law, Stephanie (Dennis) Williams of Troy, IL, Betty Schultze of Ashley, IL; and his brother-in-law, Bruce (Kim) Seymore of Guffey, CO; many nieces, nephews, cousin and dear friends.

Visitation for Swiss will be 10 to 11:30 am Friday, August 26, 2022 at Friedens United Church of Christ, Troy.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 am on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Friedens United Church of Christ, with Rev. Tim Harrison officiating, interment with military honors will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, IL
