Services for Mrs. Eslie E. Adams, who died early Sunday, January 12, 1969, at her home, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the First Methodist Church in Wagoner.
She was born September 5, 1894, in Lead Hill, Arkansas and came to Pawnee in 1921 and to Wagoner in 1948. She and her husband operated the Wagoner Motel until 1965.
Survivors include her husband, M. E. (Slim) Adams; two sons, Glen of Wagoner; Noel of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Helen Likens of Tulsa and eight grandchildren.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Highland Cemetery in Pawnee with Hersman Funeral Home in charge. Rev. David Brane of the First Methodist Church will officiate at the service. Pallbearers will be Evert Stacy, JR., Owen Dugger, Marion Cleland, Reynolds Rosson, Clayton Raglin and Cliff Dorsey.
