DANIEL E. LATIMER Passed away December 13, 2001 at Kaiser Hospital, San Francisco,CA. He was born Jan. 8, 1923 in Denver, CO and was a resident of Castro Valley, CA since 1959. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda; three sons, Tim Latimer, Danny Latimer, and David Latimer and daughter Deborah Latimer of Fremont. Mr. Latimer was a member of ILWU Ship Clerks union and retired in 1984. His affiliations were Fremont Elks Lodge #2121, Crow Canyon Lodge No. 551 F &M, Aahmes Shrine, Livermore and Scottish Rite, Oakland. His ashes will be interred at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine, CA. No services will be held at his request. In his memory donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
