Aged 62y 25d
Henry S. Florville, colored, aged 63, residing at East Jefferson street, dropped dead between the hours of 10 and 11 o'clock last night at Twelfth and Washington streets, while on his way home. The cause of his death was heart disease, he having been severely troubled with it several times before.
Mr. Florville spent the early part of the evening at the residence of his mother, Mrs. Phoebe Florville, East Adams street, together with his wife and brother, William Florville, and the latter's wife. About 8 o'clock he came down town and a little later his wife went home. About 9:45 o'clock, William Florville, who resides at East Adams street, was awakened by hearing his brother call him. He arose and went out to him, finding him sick and weak. He started for home with him and had reached Twelfth and Washington streets, where Henry fell and expired about ten minutes later. The remains were taken to his home.
The deceased was a retired barber. He leaves a wife, his mother, aged 97 years, a brother, William Florville, and a sister, Mrs. S. Richardson, all living in this city; besides some step-children.
