MINTURN -- Thaddeus Ray Allen, 59, of Minturn died Tuesday, Feb. 22, at Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System at Little Rock.
Born at Minturn, he was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Ray Allen of Florida, Thomas Allen and Monty Allen, both of Knob Knoster, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Sherry Moore of Hoxie; four brothers, William Allen of Paragould, Ernest Allen of Minturn, Tommy Allen of Greers Ferry and Carlos Allen of Bismarck; four sisters, Georgial Freet, Glendola Wilson and Shelby Bates of Hot Springs and Frances Whales of Clover Bend; two stepsisters, Patsy Stocberry and Joyce Tauttlebaum of Jonesboro; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Allen and Lillie Simms Allen; one brother; one sister; and his stepmother.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today at LINWOOD Cemetery, with William F. Allen Jr. officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home, with full military honors bestowed by the Promberger-Trow Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4556 of Pocahontas.
