Mr. Donald Ray Coker of Webster, Texas passed away at the Gulf Health Care Center in Texas City on January 30, 2008. He was born on January 11, 1954 in Corsicana, Texas to his parents Lovell Gene Coker and Joyce Ledwell Coker. He had been employed by Exxon as a Safety Officer/Carpenter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed fishing and also being an artist.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather Joyce & Donald Gazalski of Corsicana. His son Christopher Coker of Silsby, and daughter Karen Ledford of Little Elm, brothers Daniel and Edna Coker of Cedar Creek, Jerry Dean and Pat Coker of Lufkin, Cliff Coker of Deer Park, and Mike and Julie Coker of Navarro Mills. Sisters Lynda Coker of Webster, Jo Anna and Scott Mayo of Navarro, Jena and John Perkins of San Antonio. And his grandchildren Cole Ledford, Kaden Ledford, Makenna Ledford, Keira Ledford, Cody Coker, Kyle Coker, Morgan Coker, and Mason Coker.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 1, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Corley Funeral Home. A funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bo Loftis officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Terry Snyder, Danny R. White, E.K. Lopez, Darrell Plant, Rusty Plant and Ronnie Plant. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gary and Percy Plant.
