Daniel James Auden, 67, passed away on Monday August 8, 2022. He was born on February 16, 1955 in Kaukauna, Wis., to Norbert Auden (deceased) and Frances (Vanden Hogen) Auden (living).

He received a Bachelors in Accounting at UW Eau Claire.

He met his wife, Paula (Peplinski) Auden. They were married in Pulaski, Wis., on July 2, 1977. They just celebrated 45 years of marriage.

He worked in finance for 45 years. He was working for Neenah Inc (Mativ) for 15 years. He enjoyed his job and traveling.
Throughout his life, he moved with his wife and two daughters all over the U.S. where they had many challenging and great experiences.
He and his wife Paula most recently were living in Queen Creek, Arizona. They attend Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where they volunteer. Dan was very passionate about helping the Fr. McGivney Food Bank. He also really enjoyed doing puzzles like most of the Auden family.

Dan is survived by his wife Paula;
daughters: Jennifer Nelson married to Christopher Nelson with their children Eva, Grace, and Madelyn,
and Sara Underwood married to Joseph Underwood with their children Addison and Ansley.
His mother, Frances (Vanden Hogen) Auden;
Siblings:
Al Auden, Don Auden married to Alison Auden with their children Alex and Emma;
Lynn Mlodzik married to Rob Mlodzik with their children Sam (fiancée Hannah), Tommy, Michael, and Katie;
Paula's siblings: Donna Hart married to Gregg Hart with their children Katie and Adam,
and Jerry Peplinski.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Norbert Auden and brother, Ronald Auden .

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen officiating. Visitation will take place at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be at Assumption BVM Cemetery in Pulaski.
