Mrs. J.J. Burton
Mrs. Margie G. Burton, 65, of Rt.1 Dillsboro, wife of Jeffe J. Burton, died Thursday.
A native of Hendersonville, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Aaron Redding and Leahta Andress Redding.
Surviving also are three sons, Robert Burton of Florida, Jesse Burton of Cincinnati, Ohio and Melvin Burton of Dillsboro; a daughter, Mrs. Leatha Addison of Dillsboro; three brothers, Luther, Floyd and Brinyon Redding of South Carolina; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Burgess, Mrs. Elvenia Pitts and Ms. Matilda Redding of South Carolina; and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Green Chapel Baptist Church, near Elrod, Ind., with burial in Green Cemetery.
The family will receive frinds after 4 p.m. Friday at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home, Milan, Ind.
