Doyle Brown Staten, 85, of Charleston, MS passed away, Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital North MS in Oxford. A celebration of life Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Magnolia Garden Cemetery in Paynes, MS for all friends and family members.
There will be a celebration of life meal for family and friends at the Staten Farm House, 1467 Staten Rd, Cascilla, MS 38920 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.
Doyle was born August 18, 1936 in Charleston, MS to Henry Staten and Ellie (Brown) Staten. He graduated from Charleston High School. Doyle worked many years as a truck driver for Taylor Truck Line, until he sustained serious injuries from a truck crash, which resulted in him becoming disabled around the age of 40. After his recovery, he worked various part- time jobs until his retirement.
Doyle enjoyed his last years with his dog, "Little Man" who was his constant companion.
Doyle was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Alice Tribble Staten, son, Doyle Lee Staten and a granddaughter, Krystal Yvonne Staten. Doyle is survived by his two sons, Randy Staten (Sandra) of Charleston, MS, Timmy Staten (Ann) of Cascilla, MS; five grandchildren, Ashley Staten Goodwin (Jeff), Megan Staten Adams (Chris), Ryan Staten, Kristen Kiihnl, Paige Kiihnl Sayle (Jay), seven great grandchildren, Reed, Rutland, Cruize, Addisyn, Aaron, John Preston and Elaina.
