Terry, as a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Christopher and Richard; their spouses, and seven grandchildren.
Terry is preceded in death by his father, Joseph, mother, Wilma, and eight siblings. His devotion to his family lives on through the generations.
From delivering newspapers in Spartanburg in the late 1940s to laying down the Federal Interstate System in the Carolinas in the early 1950s, Terry then joined the United States Army in the late 1950s. He then had a career in telecommunications with Western Electric and AT&T/Bell Labs. Terry spent his years humbly supporting his community and his nation via his service and his passion for invention and innovation of technology that continues to make our lives simpler. Terry developed many lasting friendships which extended beyond his professional career.
In retirement, his passion for Bocce engaged entire communities; one near Fort Myers, Florida, and another in Fishers IN: Britton Falls. Terry led numerous leagues and grew the sport by welcoming newcomers and seeking to develop experienced players.
His love and legacy live on within the hearts of the many he touched during his loving and humble life.
