Theresa "Tessie" D'Ambra Guarino, 90, passed away in her sleep early Sunday morning while in Hospice Compassionate Care in Trenton.
A lifelong resident of Hamilton Township, Theresa was a 1934 graduate of Trenton High School. She worked for Travelers Insurance Company for many years. In 1978, Theresa retired from her position as administrative assistant for the Trenton Board of Education. An active member of Holy Angels-St. Raphael's Altar Rosary Society. Theresa also served as a past secretary for San Felese Lodge. She and her husband Frank, belong to Four Seasons Senior Citizens and DeCou Senior Citizens groups. Theresa's greatest joys in life came from cooking, social gatherings and her family.
Theresa was the daughter of the late Allesio Frascella and Lucia (Petrino) Frascella, wife of the late Dominic D'Ambra, and sister to several siblings who predeceased her, Peter, William, Joseph, Albert and Nancy. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Frank Guarino; her daughters, Joan and Wayne Kraemer of Hamilton and Barbara and Richard Wisdak of Cesapeake, VA; her son Michael and Kat D'Ambra of Eastampton; her sister Angela Joseph of Carlsbad, CA; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
