Harold Eugene Robinson, 81, passed on from this life on August 17, 2022 at his residence in Crosby, Texas. He was born on April 4, 1941 to his parents Barbara (Joplin) and Howard Eugene Robinson in St. Louis, Missouri. Harold, known to most as "Rusty", proudly served his country in the United States Army. After his time in the service, he worked for Southwestern Bell Telecommunications Company where he retired after many dedicated years of hard working service as a lineman. Rusty thought of himself as a bachelor, and found a girlfriend everywhere he went. He enjoyed making women smile. Rusty loved traveling, taking cruises, fishing, cutting jokes, and singing karaoke. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Rusty's free-spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents; the mother who raised him as her own, Lillian Robinson; son, Mark Robinson; and siblings, Howard Robinson Jr., Loretta Hunziker, Connie Robinson, Maxine Robinson, and Diane Robinson. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Christina Smith and husband Luther, Michael Robinson, Matthew Robinson and wife Angela, and Benjamin Robinson; siblings, Norman Robinson and wife Jane, and Wanda Hurt; grandchildren, Ashley Robinson, Christina Rodriguez, Savannah Smith, Kirk Smith, Luther Smith, Benjamin Robinson, Ethan Robinson, Madison Robinson, Cheryl Capella, Dustin Capella, and Kayla Capella; in addition to numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. The family invites you to join them for a visitation at Carter-Conley Funeral Home on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services for Harold will take place the following morning on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Carter-Conley Funeral Home. Rusty will privately laid to rest at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
